our almost dreams..

So the first day we got to magic kingdom.. We saw the dream team and rushed on that ride. We missed the fast passes.

Next day we were at mgm and we were in tot. We had 5 people so we had to go to the next room.. Guess what? When we got out of the room the room next to us got fast passes. :[

Lol.. It's bumming.. but we still have 3 days. I'm hoping but my hopes arent high anymore. Because I noticed even though theres not that many people it's still hard to get a dream.

I don't know, but I didn't see the dream team once on my trip.

not even from a distance, I think they had the week off.

We never saw them either. We had a CM come up to us while we were waiting for Illuminations and she was asking my kids what their favorite characters were, what rides they liked....I thought she was going to give them something, nope, just chatting

Frankly, Disney copped out doing two "Year of a Million Dreams" IMO...it was lame this year...I did see tons of dream fastpasses, but whoop-de-doo

We won dream fastpasses in line for dumbo last time we went. We saw them a lot actually.

My sister and I got lucky at MGM on Friday. We were in line for the Great Movie Ride and were entering the room where the movie screen is and the Dream Team was there giving out Fastpasses and we were the last two in line to get them. It really made our day. We didn't use them at all.

We had a couple of things happen, but none of them were major. My son was asked to open the Flights of Wonder show at AK. He got a certificate and finger puppets. That Dinosaur spin ride at AK (the one like Dumbo and the carpets, but I can't remember the name -- I'm a bad DIS'er), when we got to the front of the line, we were chosen as the Family of the Hour, so the kids got these little dinosaur face masks, and we got to ride the ride twice, without having to get off. And at Rock'n Roller Coaster, my son got to make his own picture (the one where you're screaming while you're on the ride), so he got a certificate stating he was a Junior Cast Member and got to wear a cute little CM vest while he was printing it out. Oh, and I was the package pick-up of the hour. I had sent some stuff I bought to the front of the park so I wouldn't have to lug it around all day, and when I went to pick it up, they gave me a certificate and a Tinkerbell pin. Cute stuff like that.

Me either! I thought perhaps the promotion was over, but I read a trip report once recently where people were chasing the dream team down.

I never even knew there was such a thing as a Dream Team, lol. I assumed a regular CM just comes up and says, "here you go, here's some free shit."

I saw a couple of Dream FPs in DL, but never saw the Dream Team. We did have a random guy come up to us as we walked past Nemo and asked if we found Nemo. We said "no, the line was too long" and he pointed out that Nemo was on the back of Russ' raincoat. Har har. He then pulled out a "special" family reunion pin (I wonder how he knew it wasn't Russ' first trip?

) and told us the line goes down to about 30 minutes between 3-5 pm. Gee, thanks, a front-of-the-line pin would have been nicer.

We got Dream Fastpasses at DHS on the Muppet 3D Movie. It was fun to get them. But the only FP we used were the ones for TSM.

We saw them once and thought we heard them a second time at Epcot. On closer inspection, it was just the staff of the Canada booth cheering someone who bought the BIG beer. That's cause for a celebration, IMO!

We had a group of 10 that went to AK one day where my sole intent was to find the dream team and hopefully win the dream ears. I never once even spotted a dream team member. However, my dog, who I had dropped off at the AK kennel, got a visit from them. He was made pet of the day and got a certificate and a bag full of gifts. The smarmy bastard has never let me forget it either.

I go to the parks all the time and I have never seen any members of the Dream Team. They must hide from me.

That's great snickerboo!! That is so great that they visit the kennels.

I thought I was going to win something, we were on our way to Soarin at rope drop with a million others when this CM at the door of that circle of life thing (whatever it is) was waving people in saying "you should really come in here now, instead of soarin' So we went in, and nothing. grrrrr... when we came out the wait for Soarin was like 45 minutes and fast pass returns were already 1pm. Screwed up my whole plan.
