Bad news... GOOD news
Okay, I was told my job was over as of December 26th. A new system they're implementing is eliminating certain positions. How NICE the day after
Christmas, huh?
So I take my kids to the Taste of Sam's Club on Saturday. I get to my car and what's in it? A DVD of WALL-E I didn't pay for!!! Okay, I'm thinking PRESENT FOR MY DD!!! woooHOOOOO!! 
Then my son sees it. "Where'd that come from Dad?" Uh oh. Don't worry about it. Then my DD chimes in. We didn't buy that!!! 8yos! 
Okay, guilt sets in. I return the dvd to the front desk. Even the people behind the desk look at me like I'm WEEEIRD! No problem. My KIDS are proud of me! 
I get home from church yesterday and I have a message on the phone from my sister...who NEVER calls me. Turns out a deceased relative left us his estate... I didn't know he HAD an estate! 
She told me she's sending me a CHECK with lots of ZEROES by the end of the week. 
Man, KARMA. Merry Christmas, everyone!
